TRANSFORMATIONAL ENERGIES

In the Navajo tradition the word “iina” means life, a word synonymous with movement - and transformation. Indeed, in nature and in life, the only constant is change. Without the possibility of a transition from a state A to a new state B, there can be no forward growth or hope of expansion. The series of works presented by Xinyi in this exhibition explores the opportunity that is always present in the process of transformation and examines how the act of painting itself can be a facilitator for the processes of change occurring around us.
